Hello
Welcome to LZ Therapy.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience I have been fortunate to have worked in various areas of mental health settings including community mental health, corrections, healthcare and private practice. I have diagnosed and worked with hundreds of women of all ages and have found that many are struggling daily with feelings of sadness, low self-esteem, decrease in motivation, ongoing worry, fatigue, poor sleep, racing thoughts, self-doubt and much more.

I genuinely care about each one of my clients.
Like many of the women I work with, I too, am a daughter, sister, wife and friend. I recognize and confidently address the various symptoms that present themselves as the result of a fast paced, social media driven and pressure filled life. Perhaps you are struggling with past trauma and feel unsure how to heal from it. You are not alone.

My work includes helping women improve communication, strengthen self esteem, recognize their potential and live a life they are proud of. I have helped women overcome numerous issues related to Anxiety, Depression and PTSD.

About LZ Therapy
The mission of LZ Therapy is not only to provide effective therapeutic treatment, but to develop a true therapeutic relationship in order to increase your ability to achieve your treatment goals.

"Independent of the type of treatment and early clinical improvement, the therapeutic relationship contributes directly to positive therapeutic outcome."
American Psychological Association, 2016

At LZ Therapy I provide personalized mental health treatment for women 18-40 years old, utilizing a client centered approach, motivational interviewing and mindfulness counseling. My preferred therapeutic technique is based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which originated in 1960 and is arguably the most popular therapeutic technique used today. The concept is relatively simple; how we think affects how we feel, and how we feel affects our behaviors. In addition to CBT I also incorporate Rational Emotive Therapy throughout the therapeutic process.
Our sessions will last approximately 50 minutes, and clients are usually seen weekly to bi-weekly, sometimes monthly depending on the need and progress in therapy.

I recognize the hesitation, doubt and difficulty associated with beginning to engage in therapy. I am happy to talk with you, answer any questions you may have and address any concerns. Call, text or email me today and schedule a free 10-minute phone consultation to see if we are a good fit.
